Household wealth (or household net worth) in the United States fell by a record $3.72 trillion in the fourth quarter of 2018. The fall in the stock markets would have probably been the largest contributor to the overall fall.
Household wealth in the U.S. stands at $104.33 trillion at the end of Q4 2018. Household wealth had hit an all-time high of $108.06 trillion in Q3 2018.
In percentage terms, Q4 2018 saw an annualized growth (over Q4 2017) of just 0.81%.
